Divers come to the southeast coast to see three anchors from a ship that lost its cement cargo in the 1930s at what’s now known as the Cement Wall site. Divers also report seeing sharks, napoleon wrasse and turtles here.

Depth 5-20 m
Divers come to the southeast coast to see three anchors from a ship that lost its cement cargo in the 1930s at what’s now known as the Cement Wall site. Divers also report seeing sharks, napoleon wrasse and turtles here.

Paje Caves are a large and potentially dangerous cave system filled with stalagmites and stalactites. You will also find lots of caves and tunnels to explore. Not a place for a novice on their own.

Makuti Point Intermediate-advanced
Depth 5-40 m
Makuti Point is one of the few sites where you can see both soft and hard corals together. You will also get great views of the nearby pinnacles. Makuti Archipelago is one of the smallest groups of islands in the region. They are located east of Zanzibar and consist of four main islands – Makutupi, Matema, Misali and Mik.
Unguja Archipelago Advanced-Expert
Depth 12-90 m
For pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, try the Unguja Archipelago, which contains over 50 miniature islands, of which some are inhabited, whilst the others are completely devoid of human influence.

The Marine Park is found on the southern side of the island and is a preserved area with lots of tropical coral formations

Tanzania Horizon Safaris has worked out a very transparent cancellation policy. In most cases we can offer a voucher if you have  to postpone your travel. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Please note that deposits are non-refundable as they have to be used for making reservations for your hotel and transport.

*If a booking is cancelled the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

  • until 4 weeks prior to departure – 30% Cancellation Fee
  • 4-2 weeks prior to departure – 50% Cancellation Fee
  • 2-1 weeks prior to departure – 75% Cancellation Fee
  • less then 1 week prior to departure – 100% Cancellation Fee: The company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However, in that case the company agrees to refund all money that has already been paid by the client. This shall be the company’s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising, shall accrue against the company.
