Social Responsibility as a local Tour Operator

Given the fact that our company benefits directly from the beautiful environment and the people of the Kilimanjaro region, we believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community.

Instead of using hotels, restaurants or other commercial venues, we choose to hold our corporate meetings at the Msamaria orphanage and provide support in the form of food and other useful items to meet the needs of the local children. We view this as an investment in our future and the coming generation of citizens. The majority of these children have been abandoned by their parents for various reasons and did not have a home. At Msamaria, they are provided with a secure place to reside, along with free education and food, which are the essential elements for a better life in the future.

We support Msamaria Orphanage

The Msamaria Centre for Street Children is a non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania, which provides care and assistance to street children, orphans, families, and communities. It is situated in Moshi, a city located in Northern Tanzania, at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The center houses a total of 75 children whose ages range from 2 to 20 years. Most of these children were rescued from the streets where they lived in difficult situations. The center is under the leadership of Mr. Folkward Mapunda and his team of volunteers, who work tirelessly to provide the children with a better life and help them realize their full potential.

What Msamaria needs the most at the moment:

Beside the regular necessities such as water, food and clothes, the orphanage currently needs chairs and tables so that the children have a place to sit down for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
